On May 18th, Luis Arzaluz participated as a moderator for a Capitol Hill briefing titled "Looking Ahead: The Affordable Care Act's (ACA) Individual Health Insurance Market, What's in it for Latinos?" The panel was part of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's annual Policy Briefing Series held at the Dirksen Senate Office Building. Luis presented findings from his research on the ACA exchanges' individual insurance market performance and its policy implications on Latinos' access to health insurance coverage. The briefing was attended by Congressional staffers and public policy experts. Organizations represented on the panel included the Kaiser Family Foundation, Families USA, and the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities.
