Mia Taylor, M.P.H. is a Research Analyst with Dobson | DaVanzo. Ms. Taylor holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University School of Public Health. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society with a minor in Sociology from the University of Vermont.
Prior to joining Dobson | DaVanzo, Ms. Taylor worked as a Research Fellow at Boston University School of Public Health, on a behavioral health study focused on addressing sugar sweetened beverage intake among low-income youth living in Massachusetts. As a Research Fellow, she functioned as a liaison between study site staff, study participants, and research staff, responsible for data collection, management, and coordination. Ms. Taylor has additional experience in project coordination and quality improvement from her position as a Program Assistant at the New England Public Health Training Center. In this position, she collaborated with faculty at Boston University and the New England Rural Health Association to develop a Rural Health Leadership Institute for public health professionals. In her graduate coursework, Ms. Taylor used SAS to perform statistical analyses on public health data, providing her with experience in both quantitative and qualitative research.
