Michael Beins, M.S., is a Senior Associate at Dobson | DaVanzo with a set of experiences unique to the healthcare economics field. Upon joining in 2022, Mr. Beins began working on a diverse set of projects including for a device manufacturer, and the projects for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) DSH, and State Data Resource Center (SDRC). Mr. Beins also has a decade of academic editing experience, which he utilizes by editing, revising, and providing feedback for various Dobson | DaVanzo publications. With broad expertise in qualitative research methods, Mr. Beins uses his knowledge to diversify the research capabilities of Dobson | DaVanzo.

Considering himself a global citizen, Mr. Beins has lived around the world acting as a professional educator & administrator before joining Dobson | DaVanzo. He previously served as an ELD coordinator at Denver Public Schools and occupied positions in Istanbul, Turkey and Kyiv, Ukraine. Throughout his career in education, his focus was on using research-backed approaches to modernize educational teaching methods and discipline processes, bringing critical theory methodologies, student-centered practices, and restorative approaches to his various places of employment. While in Turkey, he conducted a qualitative case study examining the efficacy of a privilege awareness curricular model to alter students’ mindsets on their own privilege and promote critical allyship behaviors.

Mr. Beins has earned a Master of Science in Global and International Education from Drexel University, a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Maryland.
