Stephanie Demian, M.P.H., Research Analyst at Dobson | DaVanzo, has public health and policy analysis experience at the local, state and federal levels. In addition, Ms. Demian was an Assistant Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs with a medical association researching and analyzing policy and healthcare payments.
Ms. Demian has a background as a healthcare policy analyst with extensive research, quality improvement, and project and program management experience. Her experience includes qualitative data analysis and presentation, survey development, data collection, and reporting. Ms. Demian has worked with clients from various sectors, including public, private, association, and non-profit agencies, with a focus in policy at the local, state, and federal level. She possesses broad experience with proposal management, contract implementation and management, in addition to reporting and presentations across audiences.
Since joining Dobson | DaVanzo, Ms. Demian has provided administrative and research support on several Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) projects. Her projects include a Part D Claims contract as well as reporting for a CMS Part C and D Validation contract. Ms. Demian analyzed and summarized public comments to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for a project to support CMS in Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) rulemaking. In additional to federal contracts, Ms. Demian contributes to multiple commercial contracts in addition to bid and proposal opportunities for the firm. Ms. Demian also provides publication support to teams.
Prior to joining Dobson | DaVanzo, she worked as an Implementation Manager with KEPRO, the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO), a federal contractor. Ms. Demian has extensive research, quality, as well as project and program management experience. Her specific expertise includes qualitative data analysis and presentation, survey development and data collection, budgeting, and proposal and contracts administration.
Ms. Demian holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from the University of Florida and her Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Policies and Programs from the University of South Florida, where she was a recipient of the Carl A. Gelin Endowed Fellowship Scholarship.
