Anne Pick joined Dobson DaVanzo in June 2011 as a Research Analyst. Ms. Pick comes to the firm with expertise in health policy, public health, stakeholder outreach, and media relations.

Ms. Pick recently graduated with her M.P.H. in Health Policy from The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. As part of the program, she wrote her capstone paper on the coordination issues between Medicaid and the Exchanges for low income cancer patients in Washington, D.C. During graduate school, Ms. Pick held various internships in both public and private sector organizations. Ms. Pick worked at Altarum Institute on substance abuse and mental health issues, on the Senate Finance Committee conducting research during health reform, at HillCo HEALTH on reimbursement and HIT issues, and at American Cancer Society (ACS) Cancer Action Network on both their policy and grassroots teams. At ACS, she wrote a patient testimonial guide profiling patients’ issues with accessing health insurance, and created cancer voter guides during the 2010 midterm elections to inform voters on candidates’ stances on relevant health policy issues.

Prior to graduate school, Ms. Pick worked in Washington, D.C. for public affairs firm Kearns & West. In this position, she worked closely with various government clients such as Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), U.S. Department of Education, and U.S. Patents and Trademarks Office (USPTO) on stakeholder outreach. She also worked on media relations for academic institution University of Michigan Ross School of Business using the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). This index, as well as its online counterpart, ForeSee Results, measures customer satisfaction across various sectors of the economy and uses ACSI to survey customer satisfaction. Ms. Pick received her B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations from Creighton University.
