Dr. Al Dobson was invited to be a discussant, along with Philip Cooper (AHRQ) and John Graves (Harvard University), at the Health Economics Research Organization panel held during the American Economics Association annual meeting in Chicago on January 7^th.  Dr. Dobson provided in-depth discussion on a paper presented by three University of Minnesota researchers, Pinar Karaca Mandic, Roger Feldman, and Peter Graven, “The Role of Agents and Brokers in the Market for Health Insurance.”

Dr. Allen Dobson addressed the National Association of Support for Long Term Care (NASL) in Las Vegas on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Jinglin Wang, M.P.A. joined Dobson | DaVanzo in June 2011 as a Data Analyst. Ms. Wang, who received her Master of Public Administration in 2010
from George Mason University, comes to the firm with expertise in data analysis and brings a wide range of skills in quantitative methods and analyses. During
graduate school, Ms. Wang held several research positions in quantitative and qualitative policy research and analysis at organizations including the
Competitive Enterprise Institute, Center for the Study of the Presidency, Public Affairs Council, and Congressional Management Foundation.

We are pleased to announce that Anne E. Pick joined Dobson DaVanzo as a Research Analyst. Ms. Pick, who recently graduated with her MPH in Health Policy from the George Washington University, comes to the firm with expertise in health policy, public health, stakeholder outreach, and media relations. Her prior experience includes work with Senator Chuck Grassley and with the Senate Finance Committee on health reform.
